About

Built by a working restoration company

We aren't a SaaS startup that read a Reddit thread about mold. RestorationWorkflow was built by the team at Charleston Mold Remediation — running real jobs in the field every week.

Origin Story

We were tired of running jobs on spreadsheets

Every restoration company we knew was running 30, 50, 80 jobs a month out of a notebook, a group text, and three different spreadsheets. Inspections lived on a tech's phone. Lab cassette IDs lived on Post-it notes. Proposals took two days to send because someone had to find the right template.

We tried generic field-service CRMs. None of them understood mold. No lab submission tracking, no inspection checklists, no IICRC-aware workflow. So we built our own — for our crew, on real jobs, then opened it up to the rest of the industry.

Today every feature is field-tested on live jobs at Charleston Mold Remediation before it ships to anyone else. If our techs won't use it on a Tuesday afternoon in a crawl space, it doesn't make the cut.

"We didn't build this to sell software. We built it to stop losing Friday nights to a spreadsheet."

By contractors, for contractors

Every feature ships only after we've used it on a live job. If it doesn't help in the field, it doesn't ship.
